akeramic is the work of sydney based anna schenck, who draws inspiration from the nordic simplicity and vast unspoilt coastlines and landscapes she was surrounded by growing up in the far north of germany.
with a passion for interiors and beautiful homewares, anna instantly fell in love with the tactile experience and the grounding and peaceful process that comes with working with clay and was quickly drawn to creating her own range.
all pieces are wheel-thrown or hand-built and share an earthy and minimalist aesthetic with a focus on functional form and smooth surfaces using predominantly stoneware clays and light glazes. each item is unique with its own variations and character, designed to be used and enjoyed every day.
all items are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
