iittala ruutu vase linen 14cm
Iittala ruutu vase 14cm, linen
Created by French designers, Ronan and Erwan Boroullec, the vibrant design of Ruutu ('diamond' in Finnish) showcases the delicate fluidity of the mouthblown glass vase. The simple, perfectly symmetrical form belies the extensive process behind the making of Ruutu. Each unique vase takes seven of the best craftsmen at the Iittala Glass Factory a total of 24 hrs to produce. Likewise, the pure, even toned beauty of Ruutu's vivid palette of watercolour hues best highlights Iittala's coloured glass expertise.
A true masterpiece. Simple shape displays flowers beautifully. The new linen colour adds natural elegance. Stunning alone or grouped in a collection. A striking glass art object for any interior.
