We are pleased to announce that funkis is now a featured brand on NET-A-PORTER - the worlds premier online luxury fashion retailer.

We recently interviewed Ida Petersson who is the head footwear buyer at Net-A-Porter and asked her how she wears her clogs.

Give us a brief description of your role at NET-A-PORTER.COM and what is your average day like?
The best thing about my job is that no two days are ever the same! I can be in Milan, Paris or New York for appointments with our brands, to selecting products from next season's collections, to analysing our sales with my merchandiser in the office and preparing company presentations.

What’s the best thing about working for NET-A-PORTER.COM?
I get to work with shoes – my favourite category and travel across the globe and work with an amazingly talented in-house team.

What’s your favourite style of clogs from the new FUNKIS x NET-A-PORTER collection and why?
I particularly love the light tan sandals. They are extremely comfortable and the neutral colour goes with everything in my wardrobe.

How do you wear your funkis clogs?
For a chic dressed-up look, I’ll wear them with my Valentino or Dolce & Gabbana mini A-line dresses. If I’m being super casual, I’ll pair them with my Frame Denim dungarees and a slouchy white J.Crew tee.

What is your idea of the perfect weekend outfit?
Ideally spent by the seaside in a Melissa Odabash or Talitha peasant blouse, denim cut offs and my funkis sandals.

Finish this sentence ‘real style is…?'
Someone who is not afraid to experiment but always stays true to who they are.

What do you think is the top footwear trend for next season?
We have seen a lot of late 60s and early 70s inspiration – they’re my favourite trends. Chunky platforms, gogo boots and clogs are dominating, so I’ll be wearing my Funkis throughout next season.

Favourite Blog?
I follow so many it is hard to choose just one, but I really enjoy Sofis snapshots as I can read it in my native language- Swedish.
